Safety guidance

• Never look directly into the LED light! May cause danger to your eyes!
• Always unplug the power plug before performing maintenance work or cleaning.
• Only available with AC 100-240V – 50/60 Hz.
• For indoor use only.
• Never use the light underwater.
• Only use the light after installation is complete.
• The mains plug should always be within easy reach so that the power can be switched off immediately in the event of an emergency failure after installation.
• Never cover the LED light and power adapter for optimal cooling.
• For your own safety we recommend forming a drip loop with the connecting cable to prevent any water running along the cable from intruding into the socket.
• Do not use this product if any part of the connecting cable or power adapter is damaged. Damaged parts must be replaced before use again. Only use original Chihiros parts.
• This product can be used by children over 8 years of age or by individuals with reduced physical, mental or sensory capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge provided they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the product and therefore understand the risks involved. Do not let children play with this product. Do not allow children to clean or perform user maintenance without supervision.
• Do not dispose of this product with normal household waste. Take it to your local rubbish collection point.
• If the LED-Modul accidentally falls into the water, please unplug it immediately! Make sure the LED-Modul is completely dry before using it again.
• Never place the power adapter inside or on top of the aquarium lid.
• If using a CO2 diffuser or air pump, the tank should be covered with a lid. The LED-Modul is protected by Plexiglas but should not come into contact with any water droplets. LED lights must always be at least 2 mm above the water surface.
• Never use LED lights in aquarium lids.
• LED lights get very hot during application. Do not touch it until it is unplugged and completely cooled.
