Microsorum pteropus or Java Fern comes from Asia. Microsorum pteropus 'Trident' is a narrow-leafed, smaller form of Microsorum that, like other Microsorums, is a simple and safe plant. 'Trident' is suitable for both beginners and experienced water skiers, for both smaller and larger aquariums.
The name "trident" indicates that the leaves of the plant are three-part, while leaves can vary from whole to multi-part. Suitable for planting on stones or roots. When planting on the bottom layer, avoid covering horizontal stems. New plantlets usually grow on the tips of the leaves and can be carefully picked and planted.
