Marsilea hirsuta is a carpet plant from Australia. A charming plant, often with four-leaf clover-like leaves. After a transitional period, it develops different types of leaves, either a single-leafed low-lying form, such as a large Glossostigma, or, depending on growing conditions, two-, three- or four-lobed leaves of varying heights (2-10 cm). . No matter what form the plant takes, it will form runners and spread quickly around the aquarium.
