Cardamine lyrata is actually a swamp plant from Japan. But it's also a familiar aquarium plant that thrives underwater with stems 20-50cm long. A characteristic trailing growth form makes it highly decorative, and the plant itself often forms "air" roots.
Plant in groups, making sure the water temperature does not exceed 28 degrees Celsius (this will make the leaves smaller and the plants longer). Also suitable for garden ponds in summer.
