Lindernia rotundifolia 'variegated' grows on sandy beaches along Asian rivers. This marbled variety may develop new shoots with fully green leaves. Cut off these branches to maintain the marbled look. The plant is undemanding and quickly forms a compact colony that may require some pruning.
Lindernia rotundifolia works well both as a background and as a solitary mid-ground plant with leaves that grow tightly from top to bottom. Good starter plants that thrive in most conditions.
