Schismmatoglottis prietoi is similar to Anubias, with leaves 3-8 cm long and oval in shape. However, it grows faster and does best when planted in the bottom layer, where it willingly produces stolons.
It is an undemanding and easy plant to grow and will do well in most aquariums even in poor light conditions. Schismatoglottis prietoi grows naturally in rivers in the Philippines and is often found in large, dense colonies.
