This Cryptocoryne from Sri Lanka was (incorrectly) called Cryptocoryne nevillii, but this is a species name that has never been used in aquariums. As with many other cryptophytes, not much happens in the first month after planting. But then it begins to grow and willingly produces large numbers of runners, forming a compact colony. Plants are 7-20 cm tall and each rosette is 7-15 cm wide.
