This beautiful variety has dark, hammered leaves and is named after "Tropica". When grown in open space, the leaves will actually lie on the bottom. Suitable for small aquariums with leaves of 10-20 cm and rosettes of 10-20 cm wide. Like most other Sri Lankan cryptophytes, it grows well in hard water.
