This beautiful variant of Cryptocoryne nurii was discovered in the wild in Malaysia around 1970. Among aquarium enthusiasts it is popular under the name "Rose Maiden".
This plant is as easy to grow as Cryptocoryne wendtii and has the same size and leaf shape. Given time, it will produce stolons at the bottom, often at a great distance from the mother plant.
The intensity of leaf color and pattern depends on light and nutrition.
