This American water chestnut is grass green and grows to a height of 20-40 cm. It is basic and low maintenance. Each straw is only a few millimeters thick, and the plants remain in an open growth form. It is suitable as a background plant and can be further planted in the front and center of the aquarium, in a transparent mass to create a sense of depth and perspective. Plants spread by runners, occasionally need pruning and may be planted elsewhere.
