This stem plant that looks like bamboo is not a grass. It comes from Asia and is usually grown in rice fields.
Growth is upright, but when it is cut down, the plant will branch out willingly.
The leaves are light green, approx. 1 cm wide and 3-5 cm long. The shoot tips turn red when exposed to carbon dioxide and bright light.
Due to rapid growth, the longest shoots require constant pruning, and some tops can be replanted to maintain a beautiful and diverse flora.
