Flourish Potassium™ contains 50,000 mg/L of potassium for use in naturally grown aquariums. Potassium is one of several elements that are essential for maintaining vigorous aquarium growth. Potassium can become depleted in rapidly growing systems or when the source water is low in minerals. In these cases, potassium can be the limiting factor for growth. Use Flourish Potassium™ to prevent potassium depletion (signs of which include yellowing of older leaves) and maintain peak growth.

The most readily available sources of potassium are potassium nitrate and potassium phosphate. Both sources add nitrogen or phosphorus and potassium, so targeting a specific NPK ratio is nearly impossible. Flourish Potassium™ is derived from potassium sulfate, allowing users to adjust potassium levels without affecting nitrogen or phosphorus.

Instructions:

Use 1 cap (5 ml) per 125 liters (30 US gallons). This dose increases potassium by 2 mg/L. Repeat 2-3 times per week, or as needed to respond to signs of potassium deficiency in older leaves, including: chlorosis (yellowing), necrosis (dead/browning), leaf pinholes, and weak stems and roots.
